We engaged Karl to design a master plan for our entire 1970's two-story home with the intent of delivering the vision in stages over several years. From the first meeting, we knew we had found our architect. He was very thoughtful, asked great questions, took away our initial ideas and quickly came back with suggestions for materials, layout, functionality, and staging of the phases overlaid on renderings of our spaces, fully aligned with our initial expressions. Another iteration to get to full renderings, and a last presentation to agree final specifics. From there we had our full drawings, engineering calculations, and off to permitting. His support through our first stage of work has been on point; answering all of our questions, leading us to great material suppliers, and guiding us through the various steps. We are really enjoying watching the vision come to life and look forward to working with Karl for many years to come.
